The 1st Southern Memorial Coin Convention was held April 26, 27, 28, 1962 in Chattanooga, TN. Since 1964 the Tennessee State Numismatic Society (TSNS) has held it's convention in the Chattanooga area.

The convention has grown from a 30 table coin show in the 1980s to 176 numismatic dealer tables with over 200 dealers held in the spring and fall of each year. Public attendance has grown to 1500 to 2000 people.

The Camp Jordan Arena is just off Tennessee Exit 1 on I-75 in East Ridge, TN just south of the Chattanooga airport. The location provides an easy two hour drive from Nashville, TN, Knoxville, TN, Birmingham, AL and Atlanta, GA.

A detailed map will assist in locating Camp Jordan Arena and nearby motels. Motels are located near the US-41 & I-75 interchange and near the airport.

Public Welcome

The Tennessee State Numismatic Society(TSNS) Coin and Currency convention is open to the public free on Friday and Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 3 PM. The event is held at Camp Jordan just off the East Ridge, TN Exit 1 on I-75.

Dealers Table Request

Coin and Currency dealers request a table by completing the bourse application with three choices of available tables from the table layout. Exhibitors Request

Coin and Currency collectors are encouraged to exhibit their coins or currency. Call or e-mail the Exhibit chairman for questions.
